Dynasty5 presents The Soul Picnic NC 2024. Join us at Flowers Field at Dorothea Dix Park on June 22, 2024 for North Carolina's #1 Outdoor Day Party. Gates open at 12:00 pm - Entertainment begins at 3:00 pm

The official lawn party welcomes you with special guest DJs, live music, wine, food trucks, vendors, games and more! Early arrival is encouraged to decorate your VIP table or solidify your general admission space. Food, Beer & Wine are permitted along with soft coolers. Bring your blankets and tailgating chairs. No hard coolers will be allowed inside Flowers Field. No Liquor permitted. ***POP-UP TENTS ARE ALLOWED - SEE DETAILS BELOW This event is open to adults age 21 and older. Minors are not allowed. Come celebrate the VIP kickoff of Montgomery County’s premiere Black cultural event, the Scotland Juneteenth Heritage Festival! Doors open for dinner at 5, followed by an evening that showcases our area’s legendary talent and most dynamic newcomers.

The show kicks off with America’s Got Talent Sensation Kelvin Dukes, followed by Daryl Davis’ second-annual tribute to the Du-Drop Inn of Emory Grove — featuring blues icon Jenny Langer on lead vocals.

We’ll cap off the festivities with a dance contest, a best-dressed contest, and then dance the night away to the iconic Chuck Brown Band!

Don’t miss it! Time: Doors open at 5 PM and showtime is from 7-10 PM

A free spring extravaganza featuring a full day of cherry-blossom themed art, music, fireworks, and family-friendly fun along the waterfront! We’ll cap it all off with our blossom fireworks finale. 🌸 Activities & Fireworks: 2pm-9pm — Listen to live music on multiple stages. 2pm-6pm — Activities throughout The Wharf include koi kite decorating, a haiku creation station, karaoke stage, balloon artist, flower trucks, tea garden with matcha tea sampling, and more! ~8:30pm — A stunning blossoms fireworks finale.
